The Matglen Veterans Hub (MVH) is a dedicated space designed exclusively for veterans and their families offering a wide range of educational opportunities, collaborative interactions, and support services. The MVH will become one of, if not the only, venue in London that will welcome veterans Monday through Friday and on weekends.

The Matglen Veterans Hub (MVH) provides a walk-in facility that offers practical and emotional support as well as advice and access to the basic essentials. With years of experience working with other veteran charities, we can easily signpost individuals to a number of external resources.
The Hub is committed to providing extensive training to its team members and volunteers and also focusing on accredited trauma-informed practices. This training enhances their knowledge and understanding of the specific needs of veterans and their loved ones, ensuring they can provide the best possible assistance and support.

Veterans in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth countries deserve new opportunities as they transition back to civilian life or wish to return to the work.
Their valuable skills, expertise, and dedication to service make them assets to various industries. It is crucial for society to provide support and resources to help veterans secure meaningful employment, education, and training opportunities.
By investing in programmes that cater to veterans' unique needs and experiences, we can empower them to thrive in their post-military careers and contribute positively to the workforce. It is our responsibility as a nation to honour and assist those who have selflessly served our country.

The MVH acknowledges the ongoing sacrifices made by family members of veterans and is committed to supporting them.
The MVH will be organising events that cater to parents, carers, and children. These events will include, but will not be limited to, Armed Forces Champion guest speakers who will discuss the benefit system and answer any questions guests may have.
In 2025, the MVH will deliver a programme of family fun days on the weekends and during the half term.

The MVH will have a training division that will deliver accredited and non-accredited courses and will also include a focus on personal development and self-care.
Our first training programme, the Matglen Veterans Programme Security (MVP-S) is a comprehensive entry-level course designed to equip individuals with a wide range of skills necessary to thrive in the security industry with enhanced confidence.
This programme not only increases the employability of the participants but also opens doors to better-paying job opportunities. Comprising 12 core modules, including SIA Door Supervision, CCTV, and First Aid at Work, the course ensures a diverse and robust training package.
In the future, the MVH will launch several other training programs including the Matglen Veterans Programme Cybersecurity (MVP-CS), the Matglen Veterans Programme Health & Safety (MVP-HS), and the Matglen Veterans Programme Construction (MVP-C).
These courses will be delivered in-house by third party organisations inline with the Matglen Veterans Programme.

The MVH recognises that not all veterans or their family members have access to IT equipment, including a suitable space to study. Therefore, we have created the Matglen IT corner, which will allow the user to search for work, study online courses, receive peer support and gain mentoring from volunteer IT SMEs.

The importance of socialising has an enormous effect on the mental and emotional state of an individual. The effects of isolating and not engaging with others can be detrimental to an individual, especially someone that has suffered trauma.
The Matglen Social Corner is an inclusive space designed to be collaborative by bringing together veterans, support case workers from a variety of charities, and the wider community. A place to meet old and new veterans from all walks of life.

The MVH founder (Ally Musthan) has significant experience in navigating the veteran landscape and has developed strong relationships with veteran charities, businesses and individuals. He has a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in traversing the intricate landscape of the veteran community.
Through engaging with various veteran charities, businesses and individuals, the hub will nurture strong connections that benefit all involved.
